Shoarma (Shawarma) is a widely known product in Europe. Originating from the Kebab family, its roots go back to the Ottoman empire and made its way into Europe in later years. Although shoarma can be made from a variety of animals, at the Dutch Grill it is made from pork. The meat is saturated in spices and water for over 24 hours to ensure the flavour is well permeated, resulting in a rich flavour in every bite. It is the perfect product for on a wrap and can be easily prepared in only 15 minutes. Stir fry for 5-10 minutes on high heat until the meat is gold/brown, then turn heat low and let simmer for another 5-10 min with the lid on the pan.
